You’ll find much more inside – but a brief synopsis:

Hurricane House is a beautiful home built with enormous care in the 1940′s and significantly updated for modern living. Set in a fully landscaped setting, the home offers privacy, space and elegant living and entertaining.

Hurricane House is an approximately 7,200 square foot home located in Concord, Massachusetts. Set on just over nine acres of land that reaches from the Sudbury River to Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, Hurricane House is located minutes from Downtown Concord and the Concord and Nashawtuc golf courses.

In addition to the main house, the 800 square foot granite gatehouse is fully finished with kitchenette, bath and networking to support a complete office space. A small barn provides space for a full workshop.

Hurricane House was built with timber harvested on site following the 1938 hurricane – and it shows. 2″x6″ framing and 18″ oak flooring are just two of the indications of quality.

Enhanced recently with significant additions and upgrades, the home features a 500 square foot chef’s kitchen, media room, pool room, library, bluestone patios off the library, kitchen and pool area , master suite with two baths, an in-ground swimming pool and enclosed garden designed by Zen Associates. Acres of lawn provide a spacious feeling – and plenty of room for installing a tennis court or two.

The house has 5-6 bedrooms, a formal parlor and dining room, media room and eight baths.
